Pastor Larry Lunsford began working in the ministry in 1965. He served in many phases through the years. He was a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and Children’s Church Pastor. He started his Pastoral ministry in 1988. He did his Bible Studies through International Correspondence Institute (ICI). He was licensed with the Assemblies of God and Pastored three churches, served Churches as Interim pastor and did the Work of Evangelist in numerous states. He is an active member of Worldwide Missionary Evangelism (WME). He has since retired as full time Pastor in 2012.

Larry is married to Kimberly and they reside in Metropolis, IL. Larry enjoys working with his horses, which is his second passion with ministering being his first. Larry has two grown children, Marla and Mike. Marla lives in Tuscumbia, Al with her husband Tom along with their two daughters, Emily and Aubrey. Mike lives in Metropolis, IL with his wife Kelly along with their son, Colton. Larry and Kimberly enjoy spending time with family.

Pastor Lunsford  is a man of extreme integrity and character. He has been a great mentor and friend to Pastor Tim and all our ministers and leadership. He is highly respected. While the word “emeritus” may define Pastor Lunsford in his new role, he is certainly not retired from ministry.
